(TRENTON, NJ – SEPTEMBER 29, 2006) – It might be a little early for Christmas, but that doesn't matter to Brad Paisley whose new album, Christmas, is slated for release in October. This is Paisley's much anticipated Christmas album, which includes a collection of 11 songs - featuring classics favorites along with Paisley originals. Over the course of his previous four albums, including the most recent top-seller, Time Well Wasted, Paisley has grown from country music's favorite young traditionalist to a hit maker and an exciting concert performer. Paisley's "Time Well Wasted" Tour was ranked no. 5 in the top country tour in attendance by Pollstar Magazine. When the tour comes to the Sovereign Bank Arena on October 26, Paisley will have two of the hottest country stars with him for support: Carrie Underwood and Jake Owen.

Besides the talent on board, Paisley's stage act itself will be spectacular. From the computer-animated cartoons he presents during his shows, to the amusing way he leads his crack band through their breakneck instrumentals, Paisley broadens the idea of how country music should be seen and how music can hold an audience's attention in a multi-media age. With him, fans can expect a better-than-ever show including his smash hits, "Alcohol," "Whiskey Lullaby" and "Celebrity," and a few other surprises.

Along the way, Paisley's albums have all been certified platinum or double platinum, with total sales well in excess of seven million copies, while his two most recent discs Mud on the Tires and Time Well Wasted debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. This year, Paisley has been nominated for four Grammy awards; he holds the lead for nominations led in the country field.

Carrie Underwood, the 2005 American Idol winner and triple platinum album selling artist, will be there too. Some Hearts, her smash hit debut, sold over 300,000 copies its first week and has earned the country cutie top spots on the Billboard charts and in our hearts. Also, Jake Owen, the singer/songwriter/guitarist whose smooth baritone and debut album Startin' With Me, has pushed this new talent into the spotlight and on tour with Paisley and Underwood.

Tickets for Brad Paisley’s “Time Well Wasted Tour” are $45.75, and can be purchased at the Sovereign Bank Arena box office, charge by phone at 1-800-298-4200, or online at www.ComcastTIX.com.
