31ST ANNUAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ICE RACING SERIES SPEEDS INTO THE SOVEREIGN BANK ARENA ON FEBRUARY 9, 2007

(TRENTON, NJ – NOVEMBER 16, 2006) – The extreme and exotic world of Championship Ice Racing will speed into Trenton on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. The world’s top professional ice racers will travel to the Sovereign Bank Arena to do battle in the Trenton Round of the 2007 World Championship Ice Racing Series. Enjoy unleashed, lightning fast motorcycle ice racing at its best! This no holds barred motorsports competition features oval track racing’s thoroughbreds, manufacturers world cup bikes and the unlimited outlaw quads.

All indicators are pointing upwards towards a record breaking 31st Annual World Championship I.C.E. Racing Series. The new Manufacturer’s World Cup Bikes have generated greater interest in the series allowing I.C.E. to increase their prize money by over 30% above last season. The bikes are state-of-the-art, lightweight, high horsepower racing motorcycles that come from most of the major manufacturers. These volatile machines have big engines, are very lightweight, super quick machines prepared specifically for oval track racing. Their 4-valve, 4-stroke single cylinder engines are so powerful these crotch rockets are able to propel courageous racers 0-60 MPH in under three seconds, on ice!

For over 20 years, the Unlimited Outlaw Quads have played a huge role in the ongoing success of ice racing’s premier series. The Unlimited Outlaw Quads are highly modified 4-wheel ATV’s and will be a feature professional racing division at all I.C.E. events this winter. All of the highly modified ATV’s raced in this division are unique and are thrilling to watch and have become fan favorites for their competitive racing and wild antics on the ice.

Tickets for World Championship Ice Racing are $24, $19 and $5 (children’s ticket- excludes $24 ticket) and go on sale Monday, November 20. $5 Pit Passes will also be available for purchase the day of the event. A 4 for $44 package is available from November 20 through February 8 and includes four upper level tickets, four food vouchers (popcorn & medium soda) and four pit passes.
