GLOBAL SPECTRUM NAMES JEFF SCHUMACHER GENERAL MANAGER OF SOVEREIGN BANK ARENA IN TRENTON

(Trenton, NJ – January, 2007) Global Spectrum, the fastest growing firm in the public assembly management field and operators of the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ, has named Jeff Schumacher as General Manager of the 10,000-seat, multi-purpose arena in the state’s capital city, it was announced today by Global Spectrum’s Chief Operating Officer John Page. Schumacher formerly was General Manager of the Global Spectrum-managed Colisee in Lewiston, ME.

“Jeff brings a tremendous amount of expertise and leadership skill to the Sovereign Bank Arena,” said Page in making the announcement. “We will rely heavily on Jeff’s talents, leadership creative energy to generate new business opportunities for our customers, our tenants and Mercer County.”

In Lewiston, Schumacher, a 10-year industry executive, attracted many first-time events to a 50-year-old facility, including Sesame Street Live, Pro Bull Riding, Care Bears Live, Larry the Cable Guy and many concerts.

Prior to his post at the Colisee, Schumacher was General Manager and Director of Marketing for Dodge Arena in Hidalgo, TX, where he was responsible for all pre-opening marketing of the arena prior to its opening, as well as generating excitement for the facility upon its 2004 opening.

Schumacher, who received a BS degree in Business Administration from Salisbury University, was also the former Director of Marketing at the Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati, OH; and the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salsibury, MD. He also was a promoter for Feld Entertainment, producers of both Disney on Ice and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and Director of Soccer Operations for both the Philadelphia Charge (WUSA) and Philadelphia Kixx (MISL) soccer teams.
