In the 2006 season of Smucker's Stars on Ice, Hamilton took audiences backstage to learn everything there was to know in "A Show … About the Show." In Double Exposure… he pulls back the curtain even further to reveal the lives of the skaters themselves. Enhanced by a broad spectrum of popular music, intricate lighting, dynamic choreography and state-of-the-art technology, audiences will be witness to the skaters’ secret wishes, personal goals and ultimate dreams in a candid and quick-witted format etched to be nothing less than the epitome of cool.
“Since 1986, the hallmark of Stars on Ice has always been to present the finest skaters in the world doing what they do best. Skate!” says Hamilton. “From a thematic point of view, we have also, always paid particular attention to developing a story line in each year’s production. One that is not only enhanced by new production ideas, but showcases our stars, and (at the same time) solicits a wide variety of emotions from our audience. This year is no exception. Smucker’s Stars on Ice continues to be pure performance and theatrically thought-provoking.”

Boys & Girls Clubs of America had its humble beginnings in 1860 by establishing its first club in Hartford, CT. By 1906, 53 “federated” member organizations had been formed to mark the start of a nationwide movement. However, it wasn’t until 1990 that the national organization's name was changed to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, recognizing the fact that girls were also a part of its cause. Now 146 years young and officially celebrating its “100th Anniversary,” Boys & Girls Clubs of America has grown to serve some 4.6 million youth annually in 3,900 Boys & Girls Clubs in all 50 states, as well as Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands plus domestic and international military bases. www.bgca.org
