LOCAL GYM PREPARES TWO FIGHTERS FOR EXTREME CHALLENGE 75 - TWO LOCAL FIGHTERS SET TO FIGHT AT THE SOVEREIGN BANK ARENA THIS FRIDAY
(TRENTON, NJ – March 20, 2007) Unsure of who to root for when you attend Extreme Challenge 75 this Friday night at the Sovereign Bank Arena? Try Hazem Ibrihim and Sergio Vignare, two local fighters out of the Ricardo Almeida Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Hamilton.
The Ricardo Almeida Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy was founded and is still run by Ricardo Almeida, a second-degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu who has studied and trained under the famous Gracie family. Almeida is a four time National Brazilian Champion, as well as victories in both Pride FC and the UFC.
Hazem Ibrihim has been involved in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) since 2004. A former collegiate athlete in football and track & field, Ibrihim’s main martial arts training is in Jiu-Jitsu. Ibrihim stands six feet tall and weighs in at 170 pounds and will be fighting as a light heavyweight against Tim Boetch from Ramsey BJJ.
Sergio Vignare will also be representing the Ricardo Almeida Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy when he squares off against Jose Sulsona in a Welterweight bout. Vignare hails from Brick, NJ and will be fighting in his third professional fight.
Extreme Challenge 75–Fearless Fighters is coming to the Sovereign Bank Arena on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 7:30pm. The official weigh-in will take place at Kat Man Du on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00pm.
