March 6, 2007 | Newsroom, News, Press Releases

(TRENTON, NJ – March 6, 2007) MAC Events 1st Annual Delaware Valley Home Show will put your home improvement projects into high gear with the help of the region’s top craftspeople and retailers when it begins its three-day run on March 16 at the Sovereign Bank Arena.

“The 1st Annual Delaware Valley Home Show will bring together more than 200 home improvement specialists and retailers from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware,” said show director James McLaughlin, president of MAC Events. “This is the last opportunity of the season to see so many products and so many craftspeople under one roof. You can talk to more area contractors and compare more products in a few hours at the Home Show than you could in days of driving to stores.”

The Delaware Valley Home Show features exhibits by the region’s most innovative manufacturers and sellers of home furnishings, window treatments, kitchen cabinetry, appliances, security systems, air conditioning and heating systems, windows and doors, indoor and outdoor furniture, pools and spas and cooking products. Specialists in architecture and space planning, interior and landscape design and healthy cooking will share their expertise.

Homeowners contemplating an interior decorating project will want to stop by the large Siperstein’s Paint & Decorating exhibit. Siperstein’s stocks more than 30,000 home decorating products. The Long Branch-based company’s expert decorators give free demonstrations, including how to create faux finishes, throughout the show. Homeowners seeking an affordable way to expand their living space will find innovative companies such as Tri State Buildings Specialties, a Lakewood company that manufacturers and installs sunrooms at factory-direct pricing.

Visitors to the show will see the latest in technology for automating maintenance of their swimming pools, like the salt water systems that cleanse pool water and keep it free of bacteria without the use of chlorine.

The 1st Annual MAC Events Delaware Valley Home Show will be open Friday, March 16, from noon to 7:00 pm, Saturday March 17, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday, March 18, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets for the event can be purchased at Gate C at the Sovereign Bank Arena for $6 (adults), $4 (children 12-17 years old), and $4 (friday only for senior citizens). Children under 11 years old are free of charge.

Exhibitors should park in lot 2 (off of South Broad Street) and enter the arena at Gate A, and all guests and patrons should park in lot 1 (off of Hamilton Ave) and enter through Gate C only.
